Mason Mambo: Homecoming 2003 Recap

Despite the constant rain, the Homecoming 2003 block party was another great opportunity for alumni to reconnect with friends. Academic departments, university offices, alumni, and student organizations were on hand to support the men's basketball team prior to its game against rival James Madison University.

The less-than-ideal weather inspired creative cover from the elements, including lots of tents and even a rental truck. The fireworks, always a Homecoming favorite, needed to be postponed but were enjoyed by the campus community on Mason Day.
